Over the weekend I received a dvd containing the rendered frames from The Virgin Voyage so I was able to make a movie containing the three shots I worked on. If you’ve been too busy to go through the whole short or you just want to see my shots by their lonesome, head on over to the animation page and look in the school section.
Quite a few days ago was Carolyn’s birthday. I made quick mention of it recently. Even more recent than that though was a complete overhaul of my online photo album. So, in a perfect display of amazingly well timed and coordinated events, I have provided photographic proof that indeed, Carolyn had a birthday.
It took a few months, but I’ve finally managed to transition my site to WordPress. Look, it’s all New and Improvificated. There might be a few things still needing to be worked out, but for the most part, it’s all here. Yippee I say. Yippee!
If you use an RSS reader to view my site, please update the feed to the new one. And if you don’t use an RSS reader, check out Google Reader. It’s good for your health.
Edit: I’m a goon and my RSS feed link was pointing to the wrong location. Sorry if you’ve tried to add it anytime soon. It’s all fixed up now. Hurrah!

You get a big ol’ picture just for me to say that I’ve updated my animation section with 15 animations from The Ant Bully. Normally when I post an image that big I have more to say about it. But nope. Not this time.
So now I’m just going ramble. Just so that I don’t have a similar image to story ratio like I had with the Hogan Bunch. Yikes. I got so many complaints about that. The masses were teeming. TEEMING I tell you. They were teeming, “WHY DO YOU HAVE SUCH AN OUT OF WHACK IMAGE TO STORY RATIO?!!?” I just didn’t know what to say. They were sad days. Sad days indeed.
Ok, I think I’m done. I think I’ve put this news posting into a ratio where you can now enjoy both the image (which, incidentally, was what the masses looked like when they were teeming at me) AND the news. Yes, the news. The news which you have probably forgotten by now. *sigh*
New animations in the animation section.
finally i have the history of Hogan posted. because of the delay i am going to post all 4 parts of it simultaneously. sorry about the hold up. fact checking the creation of Hogan took longer than i thought it would. even now, i’m still not certain it’s 100% correct :p
hope you enjoy it :)
The Story of Hogan
yay, april 1st :)
a bunch of websites are pink today so i thought i would join in the fun.
that is all.
i put up a two year old animation i did in school. i was showing some co-workers my demo reel, they mentioned i should put some more hogan stuff on. well, i only had this one lying around not rendered. i didn’t put it on my reel, but i did put it up here (exclusively, for your enjoyment).
i look at it and see nothing but mistakes but my pod-mates convinced me to put it up. soooooooo, enjoy it :) it’s the first one in my schoolimation section.
yay, i put up my latest demo reel. check it out by clicking the reel button on the left.
well, i’m finally getting around to posting this as everyone else already has. the awesomeness of working at DNA is coming to an end in less than 2 months. joe gorski put it best in his blog that we are like family down here and it’s going to hurt quite a bit when we all have to move on. no doubt we’ll run into each other at other studios but as with all changes in life, it’ll never be quite the same but it was good whilst it lasted.
almost a year ago, i was getting my dvd signed by brad bird and i was extremely sad to think that i’d be leaving the bay. i never thought i would grow this attached to the silliest place in america but as i’ve said, life has been really really pleasant down here. anyway, no more droning on like a little prat.
my reel page will actually be getting some love soon enough as i have real reason to update it. :p :( so keep an eye on the news page, i’m sure i’ll mention it. and lastly, my links page has been updated with everyone’s website.
i can’t say it enough, i’m gonna miss this crew. in fact, i’m gonna miss em so much, i’m actually posting an image right here in my news section…
so, somewhere along the line, i suck. and because of this suckage, the news page wouldn’t display for IE or safari users. so i’ve fixed that. i think. anyway, here it is, shiny as ever, my webpage.
as i’ve previously stated, the stuff page is starting to get some love. also, the about page has been updated to include some of the previous stories of my life because my mom doesn’t remember who i am, so she likes to read them (i think).
yay.
